What's important about the 5 Steps is that the business process doesn't start with how you do it. It starts with you. What you do well; your gifts, talents and the interests you bring.
You'll want to think about what you want to do right away, every month, or just once in a while. You'll also get to decide what you don't want to do. Some things will cost money. Some things won't. Some activities require you going first and some will make people come to you. You get to choose what you want to do, who you want to do it to, how often and when you want to do it.
The key to seeing a return or profit on your marketing investment will be directly linked to your activities and the focus and consistency of your plan. Being focused and consistent means doing the same things over and over with the same message to the same audience.
So before you make your plan, it's very important to consider your resources. Your plan will reflect your Image, appeal to your Target Market and be customized to work in harmony with your time, your money, your skills, your goals and visions.
