If you like to listen, start with the CASE calls (#3 below). If you like to read, start with A Recipe for Conversation. If you like the full buffet, do them side by side. Read chapters 1 and 2, then listen to Class #1. Etc.

Discussion Group for A Recipe for Conversation  

Charisma and Affirmations. (63m)
On this call we discussed the idea of Charisma in our communication and how we are actively using it. We also shared how we use Affirmations. Read through page 17 and do the homework.
 

Setting Objective and the Graceful Exit. (54m)
Getting clear on setting objectives makes getting what you want a lot easier. As we look at how to start the conversation with a clear end in mind, we'll also consider the end. Often time people get stuck rehearsing the beginning of their script. Here, we'll look at 'exit scripts' as well. Read pages 19-26 and 61 to end. Do the homework.
 

Rules of Engagement. (69m)
Read pages 27- 36. Write up 3 Primary Rules of Engagement and 3 ways you can establish those in a conversation. We explore how we use our Rules of Engagement to compliment our business and personal relationships.



1. Intro to Communicating and Selling Effectively (4m)  
This call is an introductory call to the 8 key components to the recipe - Introduction to Communicating And Selling Effectively. (aka CASE)



2. Vision Call (101m)  
Paula offers a more transformational message in her Vision calls.  This call is focused on the idea of Affirmations. Find out more about that in Class #1 and in A Recipe for Conversation.



3. The CASE Calls  
Each set of four calls are recordings from Communicating and Selling Effectively classes. Each of the classes focus on two of the eight components of CASE. Some of the calls feature interaction with class participants. Paula has been teaching this course for almost three decades. Every class is somewhat organic and the topic is always influenced by the perspectives of the participants.
